A sampling of our success...
We just wanted to take the time to thank all of you - John, Jaci, Shane, Braeden and Dustin - for all the coaching, guidance, and encouragement you have given Josh over the past season. As you'll see from the attached picture, their team captured the league championship yesterday. They also won the Provincial Playdowns in February, making a great run in the Provincial Tournament losing in the semi-finals to the team who ended up winning the title.
All of Josh's coaches (and a number of the parents) commented yesterday on how much Josh improved since the beginning of the season. Everyone was concerned at the start as Josh was a Novice goalie playing Atom, but thanks to you guys, he turned out to be the goalie with the best record in the league, letting in only 27 goals during regular season play. The goalie with the next best standing let in 57 goals. We, of course, have to credit his defencemen as well, but there's no doubt he was able to make some tough saves when the need arose, and that is undoubtedly thanks to all of you.
We look forward to many more sessions at The Goalie Centre, and thanks again for making Josh's season absolutely incredible.
